360 Launch New Website for Richard Green

We are delighted to announce our collaboration with Richard Green in the launch of their newly redesigned and developed website. Richard Green is a prestigious art gallery situated in the heart of Bond Street, Mayfair and it has been a pleasure to work with them on this project.

A Modern, but Authentic Visual Identity

A key objective of this redevelopment was to enhance the visual design of the website, ensuring it aligns with modern standards while staying true to the distinguished character of Richard Green. Many galleries have adopted a minimalist approach to their websites, often resulting in similar-looking designs. However, we sought to distinguish the Richard Green website from the crowd by balancing modern usability and visual authenticity. 

Typography played a crucial role in this. We selected Garamond for headings, as this is a refined, traditional serif typeface that reflects the gallery’s long-standing prestige. While Roboto was chosen for body text and calls to action as this a clean and legible sans-serif typeface. This thoughtful combination embodies the diversity of artworks housed at Richard Green, combining aspects of traditional and contemporary design.

Enhancing the User Experience

Improving user experience was at the forefront of this redesign. We introduced intuitive navigation and added a prominent "What’s On" section to the homepage, allowing visitors to easily find information about current and upcoming exhibitions. Whether planning a visit in advance or looking for something to explore on the day, users can now access this information effortlessly.

We also ensured the site is fully responsive, providing a seamless browsing experience across all devices, from large desktop screens to mobile phones. Not only does this enhance usability, but it also supports best practices for search engine optimisation.

Coming Soon: Online Shopping Integration

An exciting development is still to come, with Richard Green’s online shop set to launch soon. This new feature will expand the gallery’s global reach, offering a convenient 24/7 shopping experience, therefore helping to increase sales, enhance brand awareness, and deepen customer engagement through a streamlined purchasing process.
