Ellen Harlow joins the team!

We’re delighted to welcome Ellen to the design team at 360! Ellen has a bachelor's and master's degree in graphic design and has recently completed a graphic design internship. We've asked her a few questions to get to know her a bit better.
What has your journey in design been like so far?
My passion for design began after studying graphic design in sixth form. I have gone on to complete a BA and MA in Graphic Design alongside a couple of internships and freelance work. I have got to work on such a range of projects and really enjoy expanding my skillset.
What interests you about design in general?
I have always loved creating things, so it seemed like a no-brainer to continue to pursue a career in design. At university, I really enjoyed being hands-on with my work and physically making things. Even now when I am designing for digital I always have a sketchbook to hand as I like to work on paper before working within software.
Do you have any favourite websites or brands you admire from a design perspective?
I like Airbnb’s illustrations that they have added to their application. I have always admired their branding, logo, and sleek application, but these illustrations are nice and colourful with texture and depth. It’s a nice contrast with the rest of the site.
PC or Mac?
Mac always! I had always designed on PC until I went to university when I made the switch.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I have a 14-month-old Weimaraner, called Hero. He’s a working dog so he’s pretty much always on the go. We’re hoping to get him working in the future, so we do lots of training and events. He’s an absolute handful but it’s very rewarding.
